The History of Layme
Layme started out with Ted and Bobby wanting to start a band for fun, but a guitar and bass was not good enough. So Bob and Ted got Nate Good (guitarist) and Kevin Crouch (Drummer) into the band. Nate was too good and Keven never had time for the band so they got kicked out. Then Ted was in English class one day and he was talking to Brian and he liked punk music and played the drums so He asked him to join the band. That was the first real band put together. The name was Crescent Fresh and on there first practice they were yelled at by the neighbors and the cops visited the house. Later we did not have enough guitar support so we had Chris join the band. Chris hated the name Crescent Fresh so we changed it to Midnight Madness. Ted hated the name so we went to Distorted Youth. Now Bobby hated the name so we changed it one final time to Lame. Later Bobby found out that there already was a band named Lame so he added a "Y" to the name. Some People think the "Y" is for Yorkville becuase that is the town the band is located. The whole band loves the name Layme (which is still Lame) but many people think it is Lay - Me. Stay tuned for further notice on the history of Layme.
