Romeo and Juliet

This is another song I wrote on one of those sleepless nights. Everyone thinks of the perfect couple and they think of Romeo and Juliet....well that was just a story. In life you have what I put in the song....things go great and then they all just go to hell.

Heres a story we all know
about juliet and her romeo
juliet’s a goddess and romeo’s dying in the streets

romeo’s a punk, not a friend in the world
his life is hell, along comes this beautiful girl
her name is juliet, from the rich part of town
he found love at first sight, but will that let him down?
But her parents said no, that no trash like him
could ever have a girl like her and not to see her again
forbidden love, two fucked up lives
but love is all they need, all they need to survive

Now romeo is losin hope
and juliet’s hooked on dope
living like this is no way to be
and their love for each other is a dying dream
she goes to romeo, gives him a kiss
she said she cant take any more of this
romeo saw her leave, he stayed depressed and in bed
little did he know juliet would turn up dead
Romeo was strong ,he never cried
even though a big part of him died inside
it killed him inside to see his juliet dead
so he took his own life with a bullet to the head

Well in life, I guess you take what you get
and romeo lost his juliet
I guess things dont work out in the end
